Classification ranged from quick 15-minute assessments to complex 1.5-hour sessions, with a <strong data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"722\">huge thank you to Craig and Marek<\/strong> for managing this critical process with dedication and care.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"918\">The weekend featured <strong data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"859\">expert presentations and collaborative learning<\/strong> designed to empower athletes and their support networks:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"1904\">\n<li data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"1072\">\n<p data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"1072\"><strong data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"958\">Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS)<\/strong> delivered sessions on the Para Unit, Strength &amp; Conditioning, Athlete Wellbeing &amp; Engagement, and Safeguarding.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1227\">\n<p data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1227\"><strong data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1100\">Paralympics Australia<\/strong> staff Kim, Lisa, and Kate attended to understand the classification process and explore closer engagement with para archery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1380\">\n<p data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1380\"><strong data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1279\">Courtney van Putten (Amplitude Physiotherapy)<\/strong> highlighted the importance of finding a physiotherapist who understands the demands of your sport.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1512\">\n<p data-start=\"1383\" data-end=\"1512\"><strong data-start=\"1383\" data-end=\"1395\">Mat Grey<\/strong> spoke on sports psychology, providing strategies to manage emotional highs and lows for a consistent shot process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1513\" data-end=\"1623\">\n<p data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1623\"><strong data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1539\">Monique Murphy (SIA)<\/strong> provided education on anti-doping, supplement safety, and drug-testing awareness.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1624\" data-end=\"1756\">\n<p data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1756\"><strong data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1641\">Damien Cole<\/strong> introduced the <strong data-start=\"1657\" data-end=\"1680\">UQ Para Hub program<\/strong>, promoting a holistic approach to athlete health in sport and daily life.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1757\" data-end=\"1904\">\n<p data-start=\"1759\" data-end=\"1904\"><strong data-start=\"1759\" data-end=\"1768\">Ricci<\/strong> guided athletes through the <strong data-start=\"1797\" data-end=\"1831\">National Pathway Program (NPP)<\/strong>, outlining how they play a crucial role in the future of para archery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"2244\">A <strong data-start=\"1908\" data-end=\"1935\">special acknowledgement<\/strong> goes to high-performance athletes <strong data-start=\"1970\" data-end=\"2001\">Chris Davis and Tom Holland<\/strong>, who generously shared their experiences, answered questions, and provided mentorship that only current para athletes can offer. Their stories brought the weekend to life, inspiring the next generation of athletes to dream big and aim high. Beyond the knowledge shared, the weekend was about <strong data-start=\"2297\" data-end=\"2329\">connection and collaboration<\/strong>.
